Make sure your drawing toolbar has the "Circles and Ovals" (="Ellipse") sub-
toolbar.
Make sure the drawing toolbar is visible.
Press key F6 (= accessibility mode) until you are in the drawing toolbar.
Use right/left arrow keys to move to the Ellipse sub-toolbar.
Open the sub-toolbar with the up/down arrow keys.
Use the right/left arrow keys to go to the filled circle.
Press Ctrl-Enter to insert a circle.
The result should be a circle in the middle of the document. But you get an
ellipse.
(You can leave the accessibility mode by pressing Ctrl-Enter.)
