This isn't limited to Windows. I see similar behavior using AOO 4.1.12 on
Ubuntu Mate. Normally, File > Exit shuts down AOO, but if an MP3 or MP4 file
has been opened by AOO, File > Exit doesn't appear to do anything. The open
window(s) can be closed using File > Close or the X in the upper right of the
window, but AOO will continue to run invisibly in the background. Trying to
restart AOO normally only starts new soffice/soffice.bin processes without
opening an AOO window. The soffice/soffice.bin processes have to be ended in
System Monitor to get AOO to restart normally.
