OK, this was the decisive hint:

I used the AppCleaner app to completely erase the user profile.
Thereafter, I reinstalled AOO 4.1.14.
Now it runs on my iMac as well.

Thank you very much! This issue can be closed.

p.s.
I wonder what was wrong since I setup my iMac from scratch when I installed
macOS 13 Ventura and, therefore, also cleanly installed AOO only some months
ago ...
