Yes, I noticed this difference too.

FWIW:

                      Formula     Displays
                      -------     --------

Excel file           =TRUE        TRUE     

Import to LO:

6.4.7.2              =1           1
7.0.0.1 - 7.3.1.3    =TRUE()      1           
7.3.2.1 -            =TRUE()      TRUE
