Labels needing .625 Pitch but having .63 becuae of Writer limitation
This is similar to issue 35148 as far as Labels go, which coincidentally
happens to be my current problem but it also factors into almost all page and
other formatting and layouts when using imperial measurements. We need to be
able to enter 1/16th inch increments and I could see a possibility of 1/32nd in
a high density table/frame or small label situation.
Regardless we need the 3rd and 4th decimal for accuracy on the page , There
does not appear to be any options to select accuracy/precision .
Attached is a printed label sheet showing the drift with two places. This
example needs 5/8" or .625" for the pitch but ends up .63 with the rounding and
this is only 4 rows and three columns needing 1/8" precision, more rows and
columns need 1/16" or four decimal places. You can see not even the very first
label is perfectly aligned and all others drift right and down.
I would suggest either allowing four decimal places AND/OR in options somewhere
allow the selection for accuracy i.e. 1-4 digits. The rounding to two places is
not accurate enough for some common applications chiefly labels and frame
layouts to the actual printed page.
