    After Klipper accepts almost all MIME types from the clipboard, some
    applications might not work well. Already known examples are Inkscape
    and LibreOffice. While saving all types is ideal, not all types are
    useful in the clipboard history, so instead of accepting all types,
    Klipper will only save data of useful types to the history.

and means that Klipper will only save formats starting with "application/json",
"application/xml", and "text/" to its history, and then export those to the
clipboard when the application exits.

This is ok, because (for whatever other reason I am still trying to find) it
won't mess with the clipboard until the application exists.
