I replicated the original steps and had the same problem of the entire document
being pasted into the new document. However, the DDE functionality (being able
to change one table's values and the other changing as well) still worked
properly within the bounds of the table. I received an error when trying to
edit the rest of the text that copied. Error: "Readonly content cannot be
changed. No modifications can be accepted."
