--- Comment #4 from rc_oo_bugzilla <rc_oo_bugzi...@hotmail.com> ---
I attempted to replicate this issue with the following system and software:

PowerPoint Host:

Custom System i7-3820 CPU 3.6 GHz 16 GB RAM Windows 8 64-bit

PowerPoint Version:

Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 (15.0.4551.1001) MSO (15.0.4551.1005) 32-bit MS
Office Pro Plus 2013

PowerPoint Template:

Retrospect

OpenOffice Host:

HP EliteBook 8440p i5-M520 CPU 2.4 GHz 4 GB RAM Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit

OpenOffice Impress Version 1:

Apache OpenOffice 4.0.1 AOO401m5(Build:9714) - Rev. 1524958

OpenOffice Impress Version 2:

Apache OpenOffice 4.1.0 AOO410m1(Build:9750) – Rev. 1540294

I was not able to replicate the crashes. These are the steps that I followed
to try to produce the error:

1. Create a new, blank PowerPoint presentation with the Retrospect format.
2. Add a title and subtitle to the first slide (1) with the default font and
size.
3. Add text to the next slide (2). Default formating was Calibri 20 point.
4. Format the text using a combination of bullets, indented bullets, arrows and
indented arrows.
5. Format a selection of text with Franklin Gothic Heavy 89 point.
6. Format a different selection of text with Calibri 10.5 point.
7. Add text to the next slide (3). Default formating was Calibri 20 point.
8. Format a selection of text using a combination of numbers, indented numbers,
plain text and indented plain text.
9. Format a selection of text with Arial 12 point.
10. Format a different selection of text with Calibri 8 point.
11. Select plain text and center justify
12. Select plain text and right justify
13. Format the right justified text in Agency FB 12 point.
14. Save file as default pptx format.
15. Install OpenOffice 4.0.1 on second machine.
16. Open pptx file within OpenOffice 4.0.1.
17. Uninstall OpenOffce 4.0.1 and install OpenOffice 4.1.0.
18. Open pptx file within OpenOffice 4.1.0.
