Both are nonprinting fields that must not consume any space. So the grey field for the index entry is overlayed by the colourless "field" for the comment. Try the following: 1. place the cursor in the empty paragraph before 2. press key cursor right → the cursor stands in the comment (line changed) 3. press key cursor right → the cursor stands between the comment (line changed) and the index entry 4. press key cursor right → the cursor stands behind the index entry but it is not visible 5. press key cursor right → the cursor stands after the first character You can change it: 1. delete the comment 2. select the grey index entry 3. insert a comment.
