Issue ID: 124822
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Copy-Paste cell range from particular source as Calc8
to other AOO application shows focus on wrong cell
range
Product: Calc
Version: OOo 3.3 or older
Hardware: All
OS: Windows 7
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: editing
Assignee: [email protected]

Source Document
Steps how to reproduce with "AOO 4.1.0 Release – German UI / German locale
[AOO410m18(Build:9764) - Rev. 1589052 2014-04-22 11:43:54]" on German WIN7
Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4. User Profile used for all predecessor
versions.
1. Open Attached "sample004.ods"
2. Select cell range B809:I837 (green border)
3. <control+c> for copy
4. Menu 'File -> New -> Writer Document'
> New writer document will appear
5. Click at beginning of document -> longclick Paste icon -> Calc8'
> OLE object will be pasted
Bug: Selected contents invisible because a range B897:I925
will be shown, you will have to scroll in OLE object to get focus
on desired contents
New Test
10. From AOO Start Center open new Calc Document
11. Menu 'Insert -> Sheet from Document -> Insert sample004.ods sheet
as first sheet of document'
New sheet appears, looks _really_ similar to source sheet
12. Proceed with new sheet as per step 2 ... 5
> Everything works perfect, focus on selected sheet contents cell range
Additional Info:
----------------
(a) Not limited to "paste to writer", same in Calc
(b) Not a general problem, only particular sheets in particular
documents affected (see steps 10 ...)
(c) I see this problem rather often, mostly with Calc documents with
long history and at least several hundred rows with contents in sheet
(d) With attached sample document not a new problem, same with OOo 2.0.2
(e) Works fine with sample document and LibreOffice Version: 4.2.1.1
