ncmte...@gmail.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |ncmte...@gmail.com --- Comment #4 from ncmte...@gmail.com --- ISSUE 1: PPT format: MP3 file does not play in PPT. Repro for me in Open Office 3.4.1 (Windows 8.1), as per Scott Griffiths (SG)'s and Johanna Forsberg (JF)'s repro steps above Repro for me in Open Office 4.1.0 (Windows 8.1), as per SG's repro steps, but NOT as per JF's repro steps. Regarding the difference between SG and JF's repro steps: Results after SG's step 5 (in both versions of Open Office above): -Media object seems to replace the "Outline Text" object (the box with "Click to add text"). -There are two objects after insert: title and media object. When I continue SG's steps and save the ppt file, the path to the media object does not seem to get saved to the ppt file (hex editor does not show the path to the mp3 file, which happens when the object IS saved). I am attaching SGStep5Result.zip created in 4.1.0 containing an odp and the corresponding ppt obtained using SG's steps Results after JF's step 5 (in both versions of Open Office above: -Media object is inserted on top of the "Outline Text" object. -There are three objects afterwards: title, outline and media objects. In 4.1.0, when I continue JF's steps and save the ppt file, the path to the media object is saved to the ppt file (Frhed hex editor shows the path to the mp3 file, search for "m<bh:00>p<bh:00>3") Note that the ** ODF popup warning referenced in both SG and JF's repro steps contains the text: "This document may contain formatting or content that cannot be saved in Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP file format. Do you want to save the document in this format anyway?" I believe this sets the expectation that mp3 might be such content. ISSUE 2: Flash format: MP3 file does not play in Flash SG's steps: repro in both versions of Open Office JF steps: repro in both versions of Open Office ISSUE 3: Slides do not change automatically No repro steps given. Is this a separate issue? I could not find an existing report on this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue. You are watching all issue changes.
