Issue ID: 125534 Issue Type: DEFECT Summary: Crashes when exporting Impress file slides to pdf Product: Impress Version: 4.1.1 Hardware: PC OS: Windows 7 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P3 Component: save-export Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org Reporter: o...@virginia.edu 4.1.1 Impress crashes when trying to export more than 58-60 pages to pdf, from an *.odp file with 84 pages. Moreover, Impress crashes randomly all the time, when editing the problem file or ANY other *.odp file. 3.4.1 DOESN'T crash at all. In particular, it doesn't crash when exporting the entire 84 pages file to pdf. Of course, LibreOffice 4.2.5.2 doesn't crash either, when exporting all the 84 pages. But it has other issues, like table formats changing. My installation is on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit with the latest updates, on an Intel 4-cores Core i7 at 3.4 GHz, 8GB RAM, 128 GB SSD and 500 GB HD. Please, NO suggestions about resetting user profiles, changing memory allocation in Tools - Options, etc., or blaming the OS or the hardware. I tried all, NONE works. I'll be happy to share the problem file if requested to reproduce issue (not open post). I upgraded from 4.1.0 to 4.1.1 hoping it would not crash or at least, crash less often. I see NO improvement. It makes no sense that two outfits (LibreO and ApacheOO) are competing to develop the same free but buggy Office suite, poaching users from each other, instead of collaborating to have a decent unified application that could really compete with MS. Any chances the endless crashes will be fixed soon? Thank you for any helpful suggestions, O. Rondon -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
