scapr...@gmail.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |UNCONFIRMED Resolution|NOT_AN_ISSUE |--- --- Comment #3 from scapr...@gmail.com --- You are kidding me, aren't you? One year and two months have passed. I myself provided a workaround of CONNECTING AS SPREADSHEET instead of text because CR/LF characters inside properly quote protected text are incorrectly interpreted as record delimiters So obviously I can't connect as text. A side effect of my workaround, not the main issue of the report, a side effect of the workaround, is that the import assumes there always headers in the first line. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Am I clear enough now ? Read it again, please, and don't mark this as "not an issue" because it is an issue THE ISSUE: CR/LF characters inside properly quote protected text are incorrectly interpreted as record delimiters This attached CSV file has CRLF inside double quote protected fields, and WHEN CONNECTED AS TEXT, Base interprets them as record delimiters (while Calc does not and does a proper job) Don't read about my provided workaround if that confuses you. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the issue.
