Document where the problem appeared
Overview:
In the Writer application of AOO 4.0.1, a sentence make crash all the
application.
All the openened documents are automatically recovered*, even the sentence.
But, whatever I try to write on the same document of this sentence, it crashs
again.
If I delete the sentence, the problem disappear.But if I delete another
selection, it crashs ! If I copy it and paste it on another (or the same one)
Writer document with or without "formating text" option, It make crash if I
write a new character on this last document after the copy-paste operation.
If I cut the sentence by writing some text before finish it, sometimes AOO
crash when I finish the sentence, sometimes not.
The same sentence in Calc does not crash AOO.
* The documents are recovered in the state they were before the crash if they
are ".odt"
* The previous saved version documents are recovered if they are
".doc"(97/2000/xp)
The crash :
The crashing process is actived by writing one new text's character (or other
operation) + the particular sentence. But more then one character can be added
before the end of the process (just write your text quicklier). Therefore, the
crash seems have a time constant activation.
The sentence:
"Je pataugeai dans une marre tiédie par le soleil."
Steps to reproduce:
1) In Writer, selection the language "Français (Belgique)" or
"Français(France)";
2) Write a text or not;
3) Write the sentence "Je pataugeai dans une marre tiédie par le soleil." or
with some grammar faults "Je pataugeai' daus une marre tiédie par le soleil."
NB : "marre tiédie" seems to be the center of the problem, maybe "marre " on
her own...
Actual Results:
It deos not crash before having finsihed to write "marre", and crash randomly
afterwards keep writing the sentence.
Additional information : After analize, there is no virus on the documents.
