Maybe the actual behaviour needs a better documentation. But it confuses the
user.

There is no need to select "- user-defined -" at first.

@OP: Choose Format > Print Ranges > Edit. Then click into the inputbox and
select cells from the desired row(s). Now the listbox changes automatically to
"- user-defined -".
