I created a file according to my previous comment no 6 using the same computer and program versions. Steps-to-reproduce: 1. Open attached file from comment 7 "Sample .docx file from Office for Mac 2011" 2. Press the green dot in top left corner to "Maximise window" VERY IMPORTANT! 3. Close document by File/Close Result: Unrecoverable BLACK SCREEN. You need to force quit the program. Additional information: I have recently installed the program "Better Snap Tool v1.6.1".
