Issue ID: 127266 Issue Type: DEFECT Summary: Photo links flicker with Image Control when scrolling the page Product: Base Version: 4.1.3 Hardware: PC OS: Windows, all Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: Normal Priority: P5 (lowest) Component: code Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org Reporter: wmon...@hotmail.ca Target Milestone: --- Description: When using Image Control for any graphics links, and, when Scale is set to: “Keep Ratio” or “Fit to Size” the image in the field box flickers when scrolling vertically or horizontally. The labels for the other field boxes on the page also flicker. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a form with field type: text [VarChar] that is of useful size for a photo and open it for editing. 2. Right click in the text field box in form and select “Replace with” then choose: Image Control from the drop down selection. 3. Select field box again, right click then select: “Control” to bring up Image Control Properties. 4. On the General tab, find: “Scale” and then change this setting to: “Keep Ratio” or “Fit to Size”. 5. Save settings for the form, and for the database, then open the form for entering information. Right click on the photo field box to insert graphics link. Select any image from your collection, then with photo link in place, try scrolling vertically or horizontally with mouse or keyboard. Actual Results: The image and labels to other field boxes flicker whenever the page is scrolled, but the flickering stops when finished scrolling. Expected Results: Scrolling the page maintains steady rendering of any image or text in the form. Additional Information: This flickering behaviour does not occur when the image scale setting reads “No” on the General tab of Image Control Properties --when no re-sizing of the linked image occurs. This flickering behaviour does not occur at all for any text that is inside a field box, rather, it occurs only for the labels of those field boxes.
