Yes, that would be nice if it was possible, Hence the report. In my picture all
those underlined grey background are links. I would like to be able to edit the
formatting of those links so the grey is gone ...as i said before any editing
on those cells wipes out the links and leaves just the text.

My conclusion is: Whatever "Object" that the import of a HTML document creates
is maintained when saved as an ods Doc. But calc it self does not know how to
handle it so when an edit is done on the cell just the text is left ( No Link
).

You should be able to copy my example below paste it into notepad++ or similar,
save as an html then open with calc/save as ods to see exactly what i mean by
the links and the ability to not edit them.

My complaint here is the Bad mojo of having data then poof don't have data
(links gone) .

I Don't understand where the formatting and data for the individual links are.
It doesn't seem to be in the cell. Are there some hidden binary bytes and where
is the actual link at? They all work up to the time something in the cell is
changed.

There is definitely some voodoo going on with this particular import and Calc's
ability to handle it.

I can live with not being able to edit those but I am having no luck with style
sheets etc. trying to change their appearance in the html source file either so
I guess it is hard coded in the import code?
