Note that the problem first emerged after a recent Windows 10 update. This
problem occurs in all Open Office packages (Writer, presentation, calc, etc.).
I had been running 4.1.2 but upon experiencing the problem with opening and
saving files, I downloaded 4.1.6 but the problem remains.
