Since then I have been keeping an eye open to see if this has been resolved. I am currently using 'xubunutu 18 LTS' and keep trying every release update for Openoffice Linux, but so far the issue has not been fixed. I have tried 'LibreOffice' and the password problem is not an issue. However, for my use, I prefer 'Openoffice' for many reasons and also everytime I have tried 'Libre', my comprehensive calc sheets fail in some way or another. I note the comments of 17/10/2016, about this being posted as a Mac problem. However, when posting I did not appreciate this. I would very much like to see this issue resolved. Can you tell me whether there is any progress towards releasing a Linux bug fix in an update in the near future.
