[~sodonnell] for further reducing {{sortDatanodes}} RPC calls: add the "sort"
flag to the {{getContainerWithPipeline}} and {{getContainerWithPipelineBatch}}
methods, so we can have the pipeline returned sorted with a single RPC call,
rather than having to make at least two calls.
