AGENTS.md still describes the whole project as Java 8:
* "Java 8 bytecode with JDK 21 runtime compatibility (see the {{[21,]}} profile
in {{pom.xml}})"
* "Source and target compatibility remain Java 8."
Since HDDS-14439, {{maven.compiler.release}} defaults to
{{ozone.java.version.server}} (17). Only the modules that set it to
{{ozone.java.version.client}} (8) still compile for Java 8. There is also no
{{[21,]}} profile in {{pom.xml}}.
Update AGENTS.md so coding agents do not avoid Java 17 language features and
APIs in server modules, or use them in the modules that remain on Java 8.
