echonesis opened a new pull request, #11940:
URL: https://github.com/apache/ozone/pull/11940

   ## What changes were proposed in this pull request?
After an EC reconstruction read or seek fails, a subsequent read on the same
stream can return incomplete stripe buffers without reporting an error. A
failed seek can also leave buffers containing data from the target stripe while
the logical position remains unchanged.

   This pull request:
   - Invalidates stripe buffers when a stripe read throws an `IOException` or
`RuntimeException`, preventing incomplete data from being returned.
   - Reuses the existing `unBuffered` flag to reposition the stripe reader
before the next read, preserving the logical position after a failed seek.
   - Adds regression tests for exhausted replicas, failed seeks with both
exception types, and reads that fail after partial progress across stripes.
