I think we could use a design document around the Replication Manager outlining where we want it to go. We have the existing logic, balancer, decommission and soon erasure coding which will need to use it. We should also consider if DNs should be providing feedback about pending tasks in their heartbeats that feeds into the replication manager decisions. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
