### Purpose Python system tables reject string filters because shared Arrow conversion can silently skip filtering on failure. Evaluate startswith, endswith, contains and LIKE locally, including AND/OR combinations, while preserving comparison NULL semantics and the filter → projection → LIMIT order. ### Tests - 295 tests passed across system tables, predicates and projection indices. - Flake8, license headers, Python 3.6 syntax and diff checks passed. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
