########## parquet-hadoop/src/test/java/org/apache/parquet/hadoop/TestParquetWriterAppendBlocks.java: ########## Review Comment: Added in [`33507ba4`](https://github.com/apache/parquet-java/pull/3831/commits/33507ba45cb2c72a1c4eda83e9fd1641ef60f11d). The new test writes both `["a.b"]` and `["a", "b"]`, projects only the top-level `["a.b"]` field, and verifies that the copied value is `"top-level"` rather than the nested column’s data. I also checked that the test catches the old failure mode by temporarily flattening the lookup—the copy failed by selecting the nested path. After restoring the component-based lookup, the full append-block test suite passes. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
