Istvan Toth commented on PHOENIX-6912:
--------------------------------------
There was a recent discussion about that on hbase-dev but no conclusion was
reached apart from "it would be nice".
The best course of action would be implementing the image in HBase, and then
build the Phoenix one on top that one.
> Publish docker images for integration testing

> Project: Phoenix
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: core, queryserver

> Priority: Major
>
> The Avatica Go project (which is part of Calcite) supports querying phoenix
> query servers. It currently uses the a docker image containing phoenix and
> hbase that I currently maintain.
> It would be great if the Phoenix team can officially publish docker images
> for each release, so that other projects can easily spin up an instance of
> PSQ for integration testing.
