Try omitting the array notation at the end.
But admittedly strings are the most complex datatype we have and it's not that
we'll tested as it seems to be seldomly used.
I was thinking of creating a crowd funding campaign for fixing the datatypes in
s7. Is your company willing to support such a campaign? Otherwise I am sure
others will be willing to jump in and tackle that.
