Fair points @dimas-b and @flyrain - I think I can get behind those points regarding the Resource Server not having a responsibility to tell the client through its response the rationale of denial of service. And if there's an evolving threat model that takes advantage of that information, I'm convinced that we shouldn't recommend it within the Iceberg Rest Catalog Spec as well. I'll continue the discussion on the Iceberg mailing thread, since it looks like there's building a momentum towards improving the authorization workflow between the client and the resource server. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
