The PR does not work. I was expecting the fix: S3 PUT use the temporary credentials (i.e. the credential from STS assumerole call) but without the inline KMS key policy. In this PR, the S3 PUT of the table parquet is using the AWS access key & secret key that was provided to use with AssumeROLE.
