   I think this would be at great addition to both Trino and Sedona. The 
current geospatial support in Trino is very limited compared to Sedona.
   
   Features in Sedona that i miss in Trino
   * Optimized geospatial joins.
   * Geospatial indexes.
   * Sedona has a lot of functions for vector geometries that are not 
implemented in Trino.
   * Support for SRID. In Trino it is completely left out with no ST_Transform, 
ST_SRID, ST_SetSRID, EWKB support etc.
   * Geoparquet
   * Raster geometries. Trino has very limited support for Bing tiles only. 
Sedona has very advanced support for raster geometries in general.
