@Kontinuation @paleolimbot Thank you for your suggestions. I have refactored both index and refiner with the builder pattern. There are no Option fields anymore. The resource allocation also follows the RAII idiom. Originally, I thought we could reuse the index and refiner after the execution of the spatial join, so there would be less memory allocation overhead.
