John Hjelmstad commented on SHINDIG-970:
----------------------------------------

Can you elucidate on this a bit? Which use case(s) do you have in mind?

Shindig allows several mechanisms to set cache headers in Shindig, depending on
the service. Proxy, for instance, passes through the caching headers of the
proxied content, a default if the content has no caching headers, and a fixed
override if the &refresh=<secs> param is specified.

> add support for getting/setting HTTP headers

> As far as I can discern, the shindig server API doesn't provide a way to set
> http headers for responses or get http headers for requests. Among other
> things, this would allow servers to provide caching semantics for responses.
