I was looking for the SOLR-11501 ticket and inadventently discovered via
{{solr/CHANGES.txt}} that there's a {{hl.qparser}} parameter already e.g. see
[https://solr.apache.org/guide/8_8/highlighting.html#common-highlighter-parameters]
So {{fq.qparser}} could be an alternative to {{fq.defType}} perhaps.
