Totally agree on separating streaming expressions, and taking commons-math with
it.
FYI I have [a PR|https://github.com/apache/solr/pull/349] that does some gradle
dependency file cleanups that I'm hoping to get merged before anyone starts
this stuff in earnest. Feedback is welcome; there's a summary there at the
bottom now.
