I addressed a few of the TODOs that we talked about last week and pushed them
up to the branch in progress. My code is a little bit rough and in progress as
well, I'm still getting used to the way that node/npm/npx work so a few of my
changes are just comments that are a note to where we would look up the changes
that we need, and not the correct final fixes.
