PR #713 has all the solrj/stream/io changes. I went through them reasonably
thoroughly, so I think it's ready for review.
spotless.gradle needs to be reconciled since I added everything under solrj
_except_ stream/io in the targetExclude list. Should be straight-forward.
I'll get to 706 this weekend.
