Thanks for feedback Fredrik. This highlights the need to also document / announce the nature of the workaround for 9.0 users. As soon as Solr 9.1 is out the door, that will probably be the best mitigation for most 9.0 users. It sets this -XX option as part of the start script. We could of course also copy bin/solr scripts from branch_9_1 into the docker release and COPY them into the image, overwriting the 9.0 scripts. It would work for everyone, but feels a bit heavy for a Dockerfile patch almost like a sneak 9.0.1 release.. Agree with Houston that it would be nice with a new undocumented `SOLR_OPTS_INTERNAL` variable for such future Dockerfile bugfix patching.
