Maulin commented on SOLR-16556:
-------------------------------

We are running in SolrCloud mode (around 20 collections) with two shards for
each collection.
For advanced search functionality on our platform, we need to provide filters
for data stored in multiple collections.

Join Query Parser:
https://solr.apache.org/guide/solr/latest/query-guide/join-query-parser.html#joining-across-single-shard-collections

I understand there are few limitations using solr join query parser.

1. It does not support joins for multi-sharded collections. In our case we have
two shards.
2. It joins only two collections. In our case we want to join multiple (more
than two) collection.

Due to the above limitation we are trying to use *InnerJoin* streaming
Decorator (for joining collections) and Page streaming Decorator (to support
paging)..

> Solr stream expression: Implement Page Streaming Decorator to allow results
> to be displayed with pagination.
