Shawn Heisey commented on SOLR-8803:
------------------------------------

I realized while looking at the ref guide for something else, that the docs
don't reflect this change. And that led me to discover that the docs talk
about an OOM env variable that offers similar functionality to this, but I am
unable to find where that variable is used. Can anyone help me locate it?

> Solr on windows does not currently have a script to kill the process on OOM
> errors.
> The idea is to write a batch script that works like the OOM kill script for
> Linux and kills the solr process on OOM errors while creating an OOM log file
> like the one on Linux systems.
