Hi Matthew, and welcome!
Good question: I think we would just need core-level bindings for this
functionality (i.e. /api/cores/coreName/replication/indexversion).
Functionality exposed by the ReplicationHandler typically only makes sense in
the context of a specific core. Replicas of the same shard+collection might
have totally different index versions and even files, so questions like "what
files does this collection have?" don't makes sense or have clear answers in
the collection-context.
