Lamine commented on SOLR-16897:
-------------------------------

Hi [~epugh],

Today, a colleague showcased _gloud consol_ and highlighted its support for
OAuth via the terminal. I asked him to demo it, and looks like it works exactly
as we previously discussed. It initiates a local web server, launches a URL in
the default browser, allows the user to authenticate, and then redirects back
to localhost.

Found [this document
|https://adrianhesketh.com/2021/02/22/google-oauth-token-cli/] describing the
process.

> add support of OAuth 2.0/OIDC 'code with PKCE' flow (back-end)

> This is the "back-end" part of '[code with
> PKCE|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-16896]' contribution.
> The back-end code is mainly for configuration. This is where the different
> options are configured.
> This PR adds _tokenEndpoint_ and _authorizationFlow_ options.
