Just noting (beyond the scope of this JIRA task here) that Lucene 9.12 would be
adding a {{targetSearchConcurrency}} parameter in the tiered and log merge
policies. https://github.com/apache/solr/pull/2640 opened as a reminder for us
to document that -- no code change will be needed since via the
https://github.com/apache/solr/blob/releases/solr/9.6.1/solr/core/src/java/org/apache/solr/index/SimpleMergePolicyFactory.java#L58
setters in the factory the parameter automatically becomes available.
