Houston Putman commented on SOLR-16262: --------------------------------------- I've given up on the robots header option in the htaccess file. Instead, and even better for customizability, we will add canonical links to our old Ref Guide pages. This is what Antora does for new ref guide pages, so it's perfect. > Make sure Search Engines only know about most recent version of a page > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-16262 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-16262 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Bug > Components: documentation > Reporter: Houston Putman > Assignee: Houston Putman > Priority: Major > Labels: pull-request-available > Time Spent: 0.5h > Remaining Estimate: 0h > > We have a htaccess rules generated to make sure that old versions of ref > guide pages are not indexed by search engines, that way users will get the > latest version of the documentation when they search. The syntax is wrong > however and it does work, but only small changes are needed luckily! -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: issues-unsubscr...@solr.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: issues-h...@solr.apache.org
