BUT, I doubt you actually mean this. I didn't notice SolrCloud specific logic in your PR; is it there? Your response didn't indicate if this would work for a SolrCloud single-shard collection. Will it? Your test subclassed BaseDistributedSearchTestCase which compares equivalency in responses between a single shard and multi-shard.
