I saw in a sample AGENTS file someone put in something like this * Do not make a commit unless explicitly told to * In a commit comment, do not mention yourself, but describe the change I don't know if we can assume anything about what state folks enter their coding bot. They may already have created a feature branch, or maybe not. Or they may have checked out a PR branch to improve upon or review. I find that it helps to give LLM that context, i.e. "you are in a branch which is based on main" for a feature. Not sure if we shuold try to assume anything or direct the LLM to anything in this regard. Hey, the developer has to do SOME prompting themselves, not? 😀 -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
