Automated tools like IntelliJ are more efficient at simple refactoring tasks than Claude. IntelliJ has an MCP that you can instruct Claude to use, but unfortunately that MCP only has some fairly basic stuff. I really want the full ability of IntelliJ's refactoring at Claude's disposal! That would be a powerful combo. Another thing I've been doing more of as of yesterday is using [GitHub Copilot Agents](https://github.com/copilot/agents). 2 PRs I posted were done that way and it was very positive experience and free to us.
