I think this reworking is great. The security-vuln-process.png looks awesome... I did have luck in using Mermaid in the Ref Guide in this unmerged PR https://github.com/apache/solr/pull/2783 to generate diagrams from plain text. Which is nice in editing it. One thought, should some of this "process" related documentaiton just be added to the Ref Guide?
