[~mkhl] should this be backported to branch_9x for 9.11? If you're unsure... I
could try backporting, seeing if passes, and commenting out the fix to see how
the test behaves. If it behaves like our Solr 10 behaves wtihout the fix then
I suppose it goes to 9.11 too.
