`docker/Dockerfile` starts `FROM python:3.14-slim` (both the build and image stages), while `pyproject.toml` declares `requires-python = ">=3.12,<3.14"`. The image is therefore built on an interpreter the project explicitly excludes. The install succeeds because the Dockerfile installs the package in a way that does not re-check the marker, so nothing fails loudly; the mismatch only surfaces as behaviour differences between the container and every other supported environment, or as a dependency that has no 3.14 wheel and gets built from source. The two declarations should agree. Either the image pins an interpreter inside the supported range, or `requires-python` is widened once 3.14 is actually tested — but the current state asserts both at the same time. 🤖 Assisted by Claude Code -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
